AIR X or Pocket Max: which should I choose?
The AIR X is the lighter, lower-priced one: a Snapdragon 662 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS screen and a 5000mAh battery, at 286 g. The Pocket Max steps up to a Snapdragon 865 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a 7-inch 1080p OLED screen at up to 144Hz and an 8000mAh battery, at 450 g.
What does "No TF card" mean?
TF card is another name for a microSD card. The AIR X listing marked No TF card ships without one and uses its 64GB of built-in storage. The 128GB and 256GB listings include that card in the box.
Can I stream PC, PlayStation and Xbox games?
Yes. Both run Android, so they work with game streaming apps for your own PC or console and with cloud gaming services. A strong Wi-Fi connection matters more than the handheld here: the AIR X has Wi-Fi 5 and the Pocket Max Wi-Fi 6.
What is special about the Pocket Max controls?
Its D-pad and ABXY buttons are magnetic modules, so you can swap between clicky mechanical micro-switches and soft conductive rubber. The sticks are TMR and the triggers are linear Hall effect, for precise aim and throttle control.
Can I play on my TV?
The AIR X can cast its screen to a TV over Wi-Fi. The Pocket Max's specifications do not list video output, so we do not promise TV play on it.
How long does delivery take, and what if it arrives faulty?
