Warranty, Authenticity & Limits
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
Vantage Goods sells accessories from multiple third-party brands. Warranty coverage is not the same for every product, so the terms shown on the product page, packaging, invoice, or manufacturer documentation matter. This page covers what a warranty does and does not include, how to make a claim, and the things we deliberately do not claim about what we sell.
What we do not claim
Being straight about the limits is part of the same promise we make on our How We Source & Check page. The following are things we deliberately do not say about our products:
- We are an independent reseller. We do not own, manufacture, or license the brands we sell, and listing a brand here does not mean we are affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised reseller for that brand.
- We do not run forensic or laboratory authentication, and we make no claim to use machine learning or automated authentication systems.
- We cannot guarantee that any accessory will prevent damage to your device. Protection, drop, charging, and water-resistance ratings belong to the manufacturer and apply under the conditions that manufacturer describes.
- Minor colour variation between a screen and a physical product is normal and is not treated as a defect.
Returns and warranties are different
- Returns cover eligible order issues reported within our 7-day return window.
- Warranty covers specific manufacturing defects for a stated period, if a warranty is offered for that product.
If an item arrives damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or apparently defective, contact us within 48 hours under our Return & Refund Policy.
When a warranty applies
A warranty applies only when it is stated on at least one of the following:
- The Vantage Goods product page
- The product packaging or warranty card
- The invoice
- The manufacturer’s published terms applicable to that product and sales channel
Warranty duration and remedies may vary by brand, category, and model. Some manufacturers handle claims directly; others may ask the retailer to assist. Vantage Goods will help you identify the appropriate claim route, but a third-party manufacturer may make the final decision under its own terms.
What a typical limited warranty covers
Where a warranty is offered, it generally applies to verified defects in materials or workmanship during normal use. Depending on the applicable terms, the remedy may be repair, replacement, an equivalent product, or another resolution required by law.
Common exclusions
Unless the specific warranty says otherwise, coverage does not normally include:
- Normal wear, yellowing, fading, scratches, scuffs, dents, or cosmetic ageing
- Damage caused by drops, crushing, misuse, improper storage, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow instructions
- Liquid, heat, fire, electrical surge, incompatible power sources, or environmental damage
- Screen protector installation errors, bubbles, dust, misalignment, or damage after installation
- Loss, theft, or accidental damage
- Damage to a phone, tablet, laptop, controller, vehicle, or other connected device
- Products purchased from another seller
- Missing proof of purchase or removed/altered serial labels
Device protection disclaimer
Unless required by applicable law, an accessory warranty covers the eligible accessory, not the replacement or repair cost of a phone or other connected device.
How to request warranty help
Email Founder@vantagegoods.net with the subject Warranty Claim - [Order Number] and include:
- Vantage Goods order number or invoice
- Product name, model, and variant
- Date the issue began
- Clear description of the issue and how the product was used
- Photos and a short video showing the issue
- Serial number or product label, if present
Brand ownership and reseller status
Vantage Goods is an independent reseller of products offered under third-party brand names. We do not own, manufacture, license, or claim rights in those brands unless we explicitly state otherwise.
All third-party brand names, product names, logos, trademarks, product imagery, and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify and market the products we resell. Their use on this store does not by itself imply that Vantage Goods is affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an authorized reseller for any brand.
If Vantage Goods has a specific authorized relationship with a brand, we will state it explicitly and support that claim with current documentation.
Concern about a received product
If you believe an item is materially different from the listing or have a concern about its brand identity, packaging, or source, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, labels, serial information, and your invoice. A product that is not genuine is refunded in full under the Genuine Product Guarantee, which is set out on our How We Source & Check page.
