Best controller I've had
It's got a comfortable grip, remappable keys using the star button even on linux, has a long battery life, and is very responsive. It fits my needs absolutely perfectly, and I'll likely order another of its kind once it has reached the end of its life from extensive use.

Great controller and upgrade from my old one
I was upgrading from a generic wired Xbox 360 controller for my PC and wanted something wireless as well as with a turbo button. I was initially hesitant about the rear paddle buttons being in the way or me not utilizing them but shortly realized how useful the button mapping feature is and they don't feel in the way or cumbersome. Would recommend this controller to anyone looking for an upgrade.

8biydo ultimate 2 wireless
Its a perfect controller for its money. Not very expensive but has all the features that xbox elite controllers miss, and a top of that feels very premium in hands. Such a shame I cannot find more 8bitdo products in my country resellers

Dongle Works on Linux/Steam Deck
Excellent, works well with dongle connected to steam deck dock. Haven't tested the extra buttons though.

An excellent controller
Honestly, I didn't really believe that a good controller could make that much of a difference, but it DOES. The Ultimate 2 is stupidly easy to set up and oh, so satisfying to use. Every button is very comfortable, the grip is perfect and there are even little additions like the possibility to change the trigger's feeling to a very satisfying click. I'm never going back to the big three's controllers.

Great controller
When I look up new controllers for my PC, I ask AI which one is the best under 100. Claude highly recommended 8BitDo. I started to do some research and found it very attractive. I bought it directly from 8BitDo (save me $5 vs Amazon). It took 4 day's to arrive. I'm very impressed by the look and performance. With the same price as a regular Xbox controller, I highly recommended 8BitDo.

Broken a button
Controller is great I love it outside the fact that after about 2 weeks of use, the a button now gets stuck sometimes and is very inconsistent with the inputs, I have never had this issue with my regular ps4 controller that I abused for years, thought of upgrading and saw this controller, but so far it has been so so

İnsane Quality at that Price Range
After longer shipment to Europe, I am very stunned About the quality of 2c and ultimate Controllers, very good haptics, Funktionality with pc out of the box. Even with linux

It's ok
I was looking for a replacement for my Razer Wolverine V3, and this was soooo close. If there were two more additional buttons on the back it would be perfect. As it is, it's a decent controller, but a little pricey. The extra buttons would justify the price for me. Linux software would be appreciated as well.

Back to the past
Switching to PC gaming as I grew up is great, however, I began to forget about why I even once enjoyed my PS1 gaming experience, for a vibration is nothing more than a vibration...right? Not exactly... Monster hunter is a good display of that, the slight changes in vibrating direction and the intensity made me who fight instinctively to even fight more so and perform well. And the roar, the tremor, the attack, each has their reason to bring game closer to me than anything.

I've been using two of these controllers daily for a month and they are great. Fits well in the hands and the colours are fun. The pro triggers on the back are a bit sensitive, so I don't know if I'll ever use them, but might just be a me problem

Great controller
I purchased one of these about a year ago, and it has been my favorite controller since. It is comfortable to hold, the battery lasts quite long, and it feels good to use. I am writing this review after having recently purchased a second controller to have a spare or for multiplayer games. The docking station is very convenient, looks nice and the auto-wake/immediate connect feature with the docking station is great. I also really like that 8bitdo sells replacement parts, so if something does break, it can be repaired instead of needing to buy a whole new controller. I would recommend this if you are looking for a controller.

Fantastic Controller - Could Use Better Linux Support
I adore this controller. The hardware is 5/5 no question. However, I had to jump through an enormous amount of hoops to get the 8bitdo software to run on my linux computer.

Good but issues
When I got my controller the right stick was stuck down and did not work properly when trying to press down on the joystick. It felt mushy and did not have a consistent response with my system

Works great! Just a few nitpicks.
This controller has been working great for me since I bought it. I would recommend buying it directly from 8bido, even if the shipping takes a little longer than other online retailers. My two complaints are: 1. The connection to the 8bitdo ultomate software is not convenient. You have to have the controller off, then hold the shoulder buttons, then connect it. But because of how the dock works, its hard to actually have the controller off. So its a hassle to connect to the software. 2. For some reason the red LED on the controller's left stick is stuck on. Nothing turns it off, even when the controller is docked. I hope this doesn't affect battery charging. We'll see how it holds up over the years. Overall, good product.

Awesome controller
The controller is great, does everything I want it to and then some. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because I cannot wake the switch 2 from sleep so I have to manually power on the switch and then connect the controller.

Best of the best
Staunch OEM Xbox controller person. Tired of Bluetooth range issues with Xbox controllers and the wireless adapter is expensive. Decided to give this a try and am very pleased with the feel and quality. The ability to go digital on the triggers is a game changer for FPS like doom

... it's a shame that you can't rebind the buttons to custom keybinds, you can only bind the existing buttons.

Fairly good, but not easy to map controls.
I want to start by saying that I'm using this controller primarily with Linux distributions, so if you are using Windows you will probably have a very different experience. Because I'm using Linux, I cannot use the 8BitDo software that (I believe) lets you map the controls, and I've had limited luck with Steam. Functionally though, I've loved every second of it. The buttons feel like they're in the right place, and the controller fits my hands well. With Xbox controllers, I've found that my larger hands don't fit the sharp angle of the grips well, but this is *very* well sized for my hands. The sticks also feel super responsive, and TMR at this price point is a great bonus. TL;DR, basically a Steam Controller without the trackpads at half the price but with limited Linux support (as far as I've seen, at least, your milage may vary). If you're on the fence, the ultimate 2C is the best controller for the price at only 20 clams. 4/5 stars.

It's basically perfect
I use this over my Switch pro controller, PS5 controller, and obviously use it for my PC. I can't imagine a better cost to quality product either. 10/10.

It deserves its name
Perfect controller, higher quality feel than the switch 2 pro controller. Better vibration, nice color and very useful mapping and turbo function. Long battery life and the docking looks good

Honestly just great
I thought it would be a bit gimmicky, but all the features are really well thought out, especially the triggers changing from momentary switches to continuous triggers. The size is perfect for my hands (large) and it feels very high quality and robust. The integration with my steam deck has been absolutely seamless, I just plugged the controller charger into the steam deck dock and everything worked out of the box.
