“Fairly good, but not easy to map controls.”
I want to start by saying that I'm using this controller primarily with Linux distributions, so if you are using Windows you will probably have a very different experience. Because I'm using Linux, I cannot use the 8BitDo software that (I believe) lets you map the controls, and I've had limited luck with Steam. Functionally though, I've loved every second of it. The buttons feel like they're in the right place, and the controller fits my hands well. With Xbox controllers, I've found that my larger hands don't fit the sharp angle of the grips well, but this is *very* well sized for my hands. The sticks also feel super responsive, and TMR at this price point is a great bonus. TL;DR, basically a Steam Controller without the trackpads at half the price but with limited Linux support (as far as I've seen, at least, your milage may vary). If you're on the fence, the ultimate 2C is the best controller for the price at only 20 clams. 4/5 stars.

“Works great! Just a few nitpicks.”
This controller has been working great for me since I bought it. I would recommend buying it directly from 8bido, even if the shipping takes a little longer than other online retailers. My two complaints are: 1. The connection to the 8bitdo ultomate software is not convenient. You have to have the controller off, then hold the shoulder buttons, then connect it. But because of how the dock works, its hard to actually have the controller off. So its a hassle to connect to the software. 2. For some reason the red LED on the controller's left stick is stuck on. Nothing turns it off, even when the controller is docked. I hope this doesn't affect battery charging. We'll see how it holds up over the years. Overall, good product.

“Great controller”
I purchased one of these about a year ago, and it has been my favorite controller since. It is comfortable to hold, the battery lasts quite long, and it feels good to use. I am writing this review after having recently purchased a second controller to have a spare or for multiplayer games. The docking station is very convenient, looks nice and the auto-wake/immediate connect feature with the docking station is great. I also really like that 8bitdo sells replacement parts, so if something does break, it can be repaired instead of needing to buy a whole new controller. I would recommend this if you are looking for a controller.

“Back to the past”
Switching to PC gaming as I grew up is great, however, I began to forget about why I even once enjoyed my PS1 gaming experience, for a vibration is nothing more than a vibration...right? Not exactly... Monster hunter is a good display of that, the slight changes in vibrating direction and the intensity made me who fight instinctively to even fight more so and perform well. And the roar, the tremor, the attack, each has their reason to bring game closer to me than anything.

“Best controller I've had”
It's got a comfortable grip, remappable keys using the star button even on linux, has a long battery life, and is very responsive. It fits my needs absolutely perfectly, and I'll likely order another of its kind once it has reached the end of its life from extensive use.

“Best of the best”
Staunch OEM Xbox controller person. Tired of Bluetooth range issues with Xbox controllers and the wireless adapter is expensive. Decided to give this a try and am very pleased with the feel and quality. The ability to go digital on the triggers is a game changer for FPS like doom

“Great controller and upgrade from my old one”
I was upgrading from a generic wired Xbox 360 controller for my PC and wanted something wireless as well as with a turbo button. I was initially hesitant about the rear paddle buttons being in the way or me not utilizing them but shortly realized how useful the button mapping feature is and they don't feel in the way or cumbersome. Would recommend this controller to anyone looking for an upgrade.

“8biydo ultimate 2 wireless”
Its a perfect controller for its money. Not very expensive but has all the features that xbox elite controllers miss, and a top of that feels very premium in hands. Such a shame I cannot find more 8bitdo products in my country resellers

“An excellent controller”
Honestly, I didn't really believe that a good controller could make that much of a difference, but it DOES. The Ultimate 2 is stupidly easy to set up and oh, so satisfying to use. Every button is very comfortable, the grip is perfect and there are even little additions like the possibility to change the trigger's feeling to a very satisfying click. I'm never going back to the big three's controllers.

“Great controller”
When I look up new controllers for my PC, I ask AI which one is the best under 100. Claude highly recommended 8BitDo. I started to do some research and found it very attractive. I bought it directly from 8BitDo. It took 4 day's to arrive. I'm very impressed by the look and performance. With the same price as a regular Xbox controller, I highly recommended 8BitDo.

Why customers trust Vantage Goods
Every order comes with real packing proof.
Trust should not rest on promises alone. That is why we record a packing video for every single order we send out.
The video shows your exact product, its condition and how it is packed, and we send it to the WhatsApp number on your order.
You see what is in the box before it reaches you, so you are not buying on blind trust. You are buying with video proof.
- A packing video recorded for every order
- Your exact product shown before it is sealed
- Condition and packing clearly visible in the video
- Video sent to the WhatsApp number on your order
- Device fit checked against your order before dispatch
Why we don't offer open-box delivery
Open-box delivery is a service that very large marketplaces like Amazon run through their own delivery networks. Courier partners generally do not offer it to independent stores like ours.
Rather than promise something we cannot guarantee, we chose a more transparent option: a packing video for every order.
It lets you check your product and how it was packed before the parcel arrives.
- Real packing video
- Sent on WhatsApp
- Checked before dispatch
- 7-day returns

Questions
Before you buy
When will it arrive?
Standard delivery takes 7 to 12 business days and is free on US orders over $29. Instant Ship, where offered, takes 5 to 7 business days for $29.
What comes in the box?
The package list in this listing's description shows exactly what ships. 8BitDo controllers come with a USB cable (built in on the wired models) and a manual in English and Chinese.
Which devices does it work with?
The compatibility list in this listing names every supported device. Most 8BitDo controllers here work with the Nintendo Switch, Windows and Steam, and some also with Android, macOS and Raspberry Pi.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The controllers work as soon as they are paired or plugged in. 8BitDo's free Ultimate Software is optional and lets you remap buttons, tune the sticks and triggers, and save profiles on the models that support it.
What if it arrives damaged or does not work?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Other returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery under our returns policy.
Is there a warranty?
Cover after the first 48 hours depends on 8BitDo's terms for the model. We help you make the claim with 8BitDo. Our Warranty, Authenticity and Limits page has the details.
Is this a genuine 8BitDo product?
Yes. It is 8BitDo's own hardware, and we are an independent reseller, not 8BitDo itself. If anything you receive does not look original, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.
Is the price final?
Yes. There are no customs duties or other charges on delivery. Orders under $29 pay $5 shipping and orders of $29 or more ship free. Instant Ship, where offered, is added as its own line in the cart.
