It’s been a week that I been using the phone, I felt extremely lucky as bought the phone before the price hike during the Independence Day sale period.Absolute value for money, excellent weight distribution and build with metal frames and glass back. Went with this one instead of Poco X8 pro because of the build qualityI’m not an gamer and so can’t comment on gaming performance, fps, throttling, heating or frame drops during gaming sessionsCamera quality is above average only on the rear main camera.Gorgeous display with top notch colour rendering for content both in YouTube and Netflix. I had changed the refresh rate to 120 Hz from adaptive and the transition is smooth without any lags.App opening and memory management is excellent. I have even switched off the extended RAM option.Because of the metal frame and glass back the mobile does get a little warm during charging or extended content watching but definitely doesn’t heat up.Haptic feedback is very good and the notification lights in the camera is excellent to watch.Speaker volume is loud and clear with no distortion.Charged the battery only twice to 0 - 100 percent post that I have tried to charge only from 20 - 80 percent. For 100 to 0 % I got an SOT of close to 10 hours and for 80 to 20% close of 7.5 hours with almost 4 to 5 hours of media and movie watching and close to 3 - 4 hours of conference calls and regular/internet calls (Absolutely no gaming). The battery life is excellent as per my usage pattern. I use an OnePlus 65w type c to type c PD charger for charging to protect and prolong the battery capacity but still the phone charges really fast, so no regrets on that.With the current price hike by almost ₹6000, I’m not sure whether it is still worth for the money. I hate buying anything from Flipkart as I had multiple bad purchase experiences with them and that also was a factor on why I didn’t want to consider for Poco X8 Pro or Moto phones.Loaded with bloatware, preinstalled games but can be uninstalled and/or disabled.OnePlus Nord 6 is definitely a contender to this phone after the recent price hike because of the clean UI, software update rollout.
