Choosing a TRIMUI handheld
Which TRIMUI should I start with?
The Brick is the smallest: a 3.2-inch 4:3 screen with a D-pad and no analogue sticks, made for Game Boy, SNES, Mega Drive and PlayStation 1 era games. The Brick Hammer is the same console in a CNC-machined metal body. The Brick Pro keeps the 4:3 shape with a larger 3.95-inch screen, dual Hall effect sticks and a 5000mAh battery. The Smart Pro and Smart Pro S are wide 4.96-inch models with two sticks, better suited to PSP and other widescreen systems.
What is the difference between the Smart Pro and the Smart Pro S?
They share the 4.96-inch 720 x 1280 screen and 5000mAh battery. The Smart Pro S moves to an eight-core Allwinner A523 chip with Mali-G57 graphics, magnetic sticks, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The Smart Pro uses the quad-core Allwinner A133P found in the Brick range.
What are magnetic sticks?
Magnetic sticks read their position with a magnet instead of a rubbing contact, so they do not wear out and drift the way older sticks can. The Brick Pro has Hall effect sticks and the Smart Pro S has TMR sticks, both magnetic. The Brick and Brick Hammer have no sticks at all.
Do TRIMUI consoles run Android?
No. Every TRIMUI here runs Linux with TRIMUI's own menu, which boots straight into your games with little to set up. There is no Google Play Store. The Smart Pro also lists Moonlight for streaming games from a PC.
What does "No TF card" mean?
TF card is another name for a microSD card. Listings marked No TF card ship without one, so you will need your own card for games. Listings that name a 64GB, 128GB or 256GB TF card include that card in the box.
Can I play on my TV?
No. None of these TRIMUI models has a video output, so they are made for handheld play. Their USB-C ports are for charging and for USB accessories.
How long does delivery take, and what if it arrives faulty?
Standard delivery takes 10 to 15 business days and Instant Ship takes 3 to 7. If a console arrives damaged or does not work, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. After that, cover depends on TRIMUI's terms for the model and we help you make the claim. The details are on our warranty page.
Are these genuine TRIMUI consoles?
Yes. They are TRIMUI's own hardware. We are an independent reseller, not TRIMUI itself. If anything you receive does not look original, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.
