Way better than the Apple nonsense
Work gave me an official type c dongle with only a type-c input, HDMI, and type a USB on it. The first time I plugged it in my screen kept flickering and I couldn''t find my other personal one so I ordered this one. It worked perfectly and its way cheaper to!

Good product.
I have been looking for a good USB dock for a while. This works with my HP Elitebook, Asus G14 Gaming Laptop, Dell 7410 to 7430 and Surface Laptop 3 and 4. 4k without artifacts and clear crisp display with power. Gaming Asus G14 laptop cannot be fully charged by USB type C as it only accept 65w of power as is a design fault of the laptop but for everything else this has been rock solid and no complaints from laptops about power not being enough. Great Product.

Good product.
I've been using it for a week now with no issues... nearly. I have it connected to an external drive and external monitor with power running through it to my Mac Book and these work fine, driving my 4k screen at 60Hz. However when I connect by USB headset to it (eg. for taking /making teams calls) the device doesn't show. If I connect the headset directly to the Mac it works fine. I've reached out to UGreen for support... Update. Ugreen were really supportive and diagnosed that the unit was probably faulty. I ordered a replacement which arrived next day and works including the at audio this time. So it was faulty but it was easy to resolve and replace.

This USB-C hub has been a godsend for my MacBook Air. It has a fantastic selection of ports, including HDMI, Ethernet, USB-A, USB-C, and SD card slots. The HDMI output is capable of 4K@60Hz, which connects to my Samsung QLED Monitor and displays a crystal clear image. The Ethernet port performs very well, providing a reliable wired network connection. I was able to achieve fast and stable download and upload speeds comparable with the built-in gigabit port in my Windows laptop. One minor point is that when I have a power adapter plugged into the hub, it does get a bit warm to the touch. However, this is completely normal and it remains safe to use even when warm. The heat dissipation seems adequate. Overall, this is a very capable and versatile USB-C hub that provides a great selection of ports in a compact form factor. The key functions like Ethernet and HDMI work flawlessly. It was so good I bought a second one which is permanently connected to my MacBook Pro on my desk.

I have one of these connected to a 4K ultra wide monitor, and another behind our 1080p TV set. They work with Samsung Dex, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and my Windows PC. Also this can do power and ethernet for my Chromecast with Google TV dongle.

Does 4K HDMI in HDR mode
I''ve used this with a 4K TV connected in HDR mode for over 2 years. The HDR requires more bandwidth than 4K/30Hz. I should have searched for one with a 3rd USB A/C port instead of the SD card because I''ve never used the SD card. I subtracted a star because the USB-C PD power pass thru doesn''t work with my HP i9 laptop even with a 130W supply connected. I''m not sure if it''s the laptop or the hub tho.

I use this because my laptop does not have an SD card slot any more. Also, I needed a second HDMI monitor output and this adapter works perfectly for that. Then I have a USB for my powered speakers, and another USB for charging stuff.

This is a good product, works well and it's reasonably priced. I came to seek out a U Green product when I needed a USB C Dock for my new secondhand Macbook Air, because I've always had good experiences when buying UGreen products in the past, so I prefer to buy this brand when I can. I'd never bought directly from the U Green website before, but I must say that I will again in future as the price was very good and the delivery was very quick!!!

My primary use-case was to be able to connect this to my iPhone 15 Pro max so that I can then connect to a TV - this would allow me to "tether" my phone to hotel TVs when I travel enabling me to watch whatever media I want (hotel TV channel choice is always rather limited!). Having tested it on my own TV it works perfectly for this purpose so I'm very happy! I haven't yet tried any of the other features as they're ancillary for me at the moment but I'll try them soon. Happy purchase!

This product is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. It has useful features for the iPhone, allowing me to view my footage and videos on my TV directly from my phone. It was challenging to find a device that was compatible with older iPhone versions, but with the updated version, it has become much easier.
